An explanation of the Life of Bass Reeves
In the Netflix movie, The Harder They Fall, The Nat love gang finds an unlikely ally in the U.S. deputy marshal Bass Reeves who is played by Delroy Lindo, who helps him hunt down Rufus Buck. The real Bass Reeves very similar to his movie counterpart, He the first black deputy U.S. marshal west of the Mississippi River and recorded over 3,000 arrests.
